# Cloud Buddy vs Rockets

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Cloud Buddy at none against Rockets's 1. Rockets's advantage is update cadence (every 8 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rockets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Cloud Buddy asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cloud Buddy ships an update every 3 weeks, Rockets every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
