# GledMD vs USMLE Plus

The clearest difference is update cadence: GledMD at weekly against USMLE Plus's every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GledMD sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and USMLE Plus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GledMD ships an update weekly, USMLE Plus every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
