Yomu is a manga, comic and webtoon reader for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It brings your series, your own files and your servers into one library, and it reads them aloud when your eyes need a rest. WHO IS YOMU FOR? Yomu is built for readers of manga, manhwa, manhua, webtoons and novels who want one app for all their reading: series you browse online, Yomu Originals, self-hosted servers, and your own CBZ, CBR, EPUB and PDF files from local storage or a NAS. HOW DOES YOMU WORK? Browse, search and read right in the app, with no browser tabs. Yomu also connects to WebDAV, SMB, NFS and OPDS servers, and can use an iCloud Drive folder as a library. Every series page opens with a Preview: a video when there is one, then the first pages of the first chapter. Page Previews can be turned off in Settings. WHEN SHOULD I USE YOMU INSTEAD OF A BROWSER? Yomu downloads chapters for offline reading, syncs progress across your devices with iCloud, and keeps your reading lists up to date automatically. You keep your place across hundreds of series without managing bookmarks. CAN YOMU READ ALOUD? Yes. Read Aloud has Natural Voices in English, Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Hindi, downloaded automatically over Wi-Fi. It keeps playing when you switch to another app or lock the screen, with the cover, the chapter and play, pause, next and previous controls on the lock screen, in Control Center and on headphones. Follow Panels zooms the reader to each panel as it is spoken. CAN YOMU TRANSLATE MANGA? Yes. Yomu translates manga into 27 languages, with text wrapped to fit the original speech balloons. Translate an Area turns any part of a page into one balloon, and Circle to Translate does the same when you draw a loop round the lettering. WHAT ARE YOMU ORIGINALS? Comics, novels and voiced Dramas made for Yomu. Premium readers can Watch a chapter as a voiced, animated episode and share a clip. Pages that leave the app in an exported file or a shared page carry a small Yomu Originals mark. Prefer your own library? Turn off Show Yomu Originals in Settings to hide them everywhere. AUTO ZOOM: PANEL-BY-PANEL READING Yomu finds the panels on each page and glides through them one at a time, turning dense manga pages into a cinematic, panel-by-panel reading experience that works especially well on smaller screens. READING · Right-to-left, left-to-right and vertical scroll reading modes · Single and double-page layouts · Download chapters for offline reading · Smart notifications when new chapters drop · Sleep timer for reading before bed · Volume button and Apple Pencil page turning · Drag in from the left edge to close the reader on iPhone and iPad LIBRARY · One library for series, servers and local files · iCloud sync across iPhone, iPad and Mac · Automatic reading-list sync · One-tap backup and restore · Incognito mode and Face ID app lock PREMIUM Unlock Read Aloud with Natural Voices, Follow Panels, Auto Zoom, Translation, Watch, Auto-Scroll, reading-list sync, iCloud Sync, server connections, Sleep Timer, Backup & Restore, Incognito Mode, Face ID Lock, and all future premium features. NATIVE APPLE APP Built with SwiftUI: no web views, no wrappers. Fluid, responsive and battery efficient on iOS and macOS.
