# Yorick Plays vs NoteGuide

The clearest difference is update cadence: NoteGuide at every 2 days against Yorick Plays's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Yorick Plays sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and NoteGuide sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Yorick Plays ships an update fortnightly, NoteGuide every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
