# Palmetto vs Freshroll App

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Palmetto at 681 against Freshroll App's 3. Palmetto also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Freshroll App's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Freshroll App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Palmetto has 681 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Palmetto ships an update every 3 weeks, Freshroll App weekly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
