# Scanote vs SnapText

The clearest difference is ads: Scanote at none against SnapText's shown. SnapText's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scanote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SnapText sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
