# Solus vs Mast

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mast at every 2 weeks against Solus's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Solus sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Mast sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Solus ships an update monthly, Mast every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
