# BugOut vs Emergency Bag

The clearest difference is update cadence: BugOut at fortnightly against Emergency Bag's monthly. Emergency Bag's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BugOut sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Emergency Bag sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BugOut ships an update fortnightly, Emergency Bag monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
