# Stringline vs Sixteenths

The clearest difference is update cadence: Sixteenths at every 4 days against Stringline's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stringline sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Sixteenths sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stringline ships an update every 2 weeks, Sixteenths every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
