# Bagel vs VergeX AI

The clearest difference is monetization model: VergeX AI at free against Bagel's ad-supported. Bagel's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 2) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Bagel against 5.0 for VergeX AI. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 8 and 2 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Bagel ships an update every 3 weeks, VergeX AI every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
