# NBackCalc vs Visualization Training

The clearest difference is update cadence: NBackCalc at every 2 days against Visualization Training's weekly. NBackCalc also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NBackCalc sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Visualization Training sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NBackCalc ships an update every 2 days, Visualization Training weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
