# Cave Couples vs Datey

The clearest difference is update cadence: Datey at every 2 days against Cave Couples's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cave Couples sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 7 days and Datey sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cave Couples ships an update every 2 months, Datey every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
