# Lenticule vs Metro Novel

The clearest difference is update cadence: Metro Novel at every 3 days against Lenticule's weekly. Metro Novel also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lenticule sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Metro Novel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lenticule ships an update weekly, Metro Novel every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
