# ScanStudy vs FlashScroll

The clearest difference is update cadence: ScanStudy at every 2 days against FlashScroll's every 2 weeks. FlashScroll's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScanStudy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and FlashScroll sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScanStudy ships an update every 2 days, FlashScroll every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
