# Format Converter vs SmartFolder

The clearest difference is chart position: SmartFolder at #89 against Format Converter's unranked. Format Converter's advantage is ratings volume (342 vs 53). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Format Converter sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SmartFolder sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
