# SYNC vs Camvi

The clearest difference is monetization model: SYNC at free against Camvi's free with in-app purchases. Camvi's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SYNC sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Camvi sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SYNC against 5.0 for Camvi. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camvi has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SYNC ships an update every 3 weeks, Camvi every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
