# Flipbook vs Sumondo

The clearest difference is ads: Flipbook at none against Sumondo's shown. Sumondo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flipbook sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Sumondo sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flipbook ships an update every 2 weeks, Sumondo every 4 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
