# BindNotes vs NoteSam

The clearest difference is ads: BindNotes at none against NoteSam's shown. NoteSam's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BindNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and NoteSam sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BindNotes ships an update every 3 weeks, NoteSam every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively.
