# BindNotes vs PDF

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: PDF at 17.0 against BindNotes's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BindNotes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PDF sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
