# MasterElec vs Office

The clearest difference is update cadence: Office at every 2 days against MasterElec's every 3 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MasterElec sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Office sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MasterElec ships an update every 3 months, Office every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
