# Resonate Network vs Codex

The clearest difference is update cadence: Codex at every 6 days against Resonate Network's every 2 months. Codex also leads on ratings volume (7 vs 1). Resonate Network's advantage is device support (4 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Resonate Network against 5.0 for Codex. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Codex has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Resonate Network ships an update every 2 months, Codex every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
