# Fasten vs HonestFast

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Fasten at none against HonestFast's 3. Fasten also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). HonestFast's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HonestFast sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Fasten asks for nothing beyond the download.

Fasten ships an update every 2 months, HonestFast fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
