# FishHogs vs Sailing Log

The clearest difference is ads: Sailing Log at none against FishHogs's shown. FishHogs's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FishHogs sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Sailing Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FishHogs ships an update every 4 days, Sailing Log every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
