# SnapPal vs TimerShot

The clearest difference is ads: SnapPal at none against TimerShot's shown. SnapPal also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.6). TimerShot's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SnapPal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and TimerShot sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
