# AGD Remote vs Lava Security

The clearest difference is update cadence: AGD Remote at every 5 days against Lava Security's fortnightly. Lava Security's advantage is iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AGD Remote sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Lava Security sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AGD Remote ships an update every 5 days, Lava Security fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
