# Pull Blocks vs Shade Shape

The clearest difference is ads: Shade Shape at none against Pull Blocks's shown. Pull Blocks's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.5). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pull Blocks sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and Shade Shape sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pull Blocks ships an update every 4 days, Shade Shape fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
