# Stack Trainer vs Daily History

The clearest difference is rating: Daily History at 5.0 against Stack Trainer's 4.5. Daily History also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). Stack Trainer's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stack Trainer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Daily History sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Daily History holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stack Trainer has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Stack Trainer ships an update every 5 days, Daily History fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
