# Read.md vs Medori

The clearest difference is update cadence: Medori at every 3 days against Read.md's fortnightly. Read.md's advantage is device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Read.md sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Medori sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Read.md ships an update fortnightly, Medori every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
