# Smart Runner vs THRIVE

The clearest difference is update cadence: Smart Runner at every 3 days against THRIVE's monthly. Smart Runner also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). THRIVE's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Runner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and THRIVE sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Smart Runner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 25 respectively. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Smart Runner ships an update every 3 days, THRIVE monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
