# Smart Runner vs Rolling Heart

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Smart Runner at 7 against Rolling Heart's 1. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Runner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year and Rolling Heart sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Smart Runner against 5.0 for Rolling Heart. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Runner has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Smart Runner ships an update every 3 days, Rolling Heart every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
