# Freestyle Calculator vs AppSaver

Freestyle Calculator and AppSaver both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Freestyle Calculator's written reviews are positive against 73% of AppSaver's. Freestyle Calculator also leads on ratings volume (8 vs 1). AppSaver's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Freestyle Calculator sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and AppSaver sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Freestyle Calculator against 5.0 for AppSaver. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Freestyle Calculator has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
