# Carousel vs CrlKit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Carousel at every 4 days against CrlKit's monthly. Carousel also leads on ratings volume (19 vs 1). CrlKit's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carousel sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and CrlKit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrlKit holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Carousel has 19 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Carousel ships an update every 4 days, CrlKit monthly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
