# My Prompter vs SpeakSync

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: My Prompter at none against SpeakSync's 2. SpeakSync's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpeakSync sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. My Prompter asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for My Prompter against 5.0 for SpeakSync. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SpeakSync has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
