# RoutineXP vs Butt Workout

The clearest difference is monetization model: Butt Workout at free with in-app purchases against RoutineXP's subscription. Butt Workout also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 4 months). RoutineXP's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RoutineXP sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Butt Workout sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for RoutineXP against 5.0 for Butt Workout. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively.

RoutineXP ships an update every 4 months, Butt Workout every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
