# Ventry vs Offing

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Offing at none against Ventry's 6. Offing also leads on ads (none vs shown). Ventry's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ventry sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Offing asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ventry ships an update weekly, Offing every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
