# Tether vs Our Orbit

The clearest difference is ads: Our Orbit at none against Tether's shown. Tether's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tether sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.49 per month and Our Orbit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tether ships an update every 5 days, Our Orbit every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
