# Long vs Stitcher

The clearest difference is rating: Stitcher at 5.0 against Long's 3.7. Stitcher also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). Long's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). On price, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Long sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Stitcher sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Stitcher holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 4 respectively.

Long ships an update every 3 months, Stitcher every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
