# Cadence vs ProofBox Vault

The clearest difference is update cadence: Cadence at every 10 days against ProofBox Vault's every 4 months. ProofBox Vault's advantage is iOS requirement (16.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cadence sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ProofBox Vault sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cadence ships an update every 10 days, ProofBox Vault every 4 months. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
