# Tempo vs Tremolo

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tempo at every 5 days against Tremolo's fortnightly. Tempo also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tempo sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Tremolo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tempo ships an update every 5 days, Tremolo fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
