# STRIMIX vs Streamly

The clearest difference is ads: Streamly at none against STRIMIX's shown. Streamly also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). STRIMIX's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (36 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. STRIMIX sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Streamly sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

STRIMIX holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STRIMIX has 36 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

STRIMIX ships an update every 8 days, Streamly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
