# PairDiary vs avec.

The clearest difference is update cadence: avec. at every 3 days against PairDiary's every 3 weeks. avec. also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). PairDiary's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PairDiary sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and avec. sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for PairDiary against 5.0 for avec.. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: avec. has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PairDiary ships an update every 3 weeks, avec. every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
