# PathQuest vs StepTeddy

The clearest difference is update cadence: PathQuest at every 2 weeks against StepTeddy's every 2 months. StepTeddy's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PathQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and StepTeddy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PathQuest ships an update every 2 weeks, StepTeddy every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
