# PathQuest vs Oz Steps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Oz Steps at every 2 days against PathQuest's every 2 weeks. Oz Steps also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PathQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Oz Steps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
