# PathQuest vs Walk tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: Walk tracker at every 4 days against PathQuest's every 2 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PathQuest sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Walk tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PathQuest ships an update every 2 weeks, Walk tracker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
