# EmotionLock vs OctopusTerminal

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: OctopusTerminal at 15.0 against EmotionLock's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EmotionLock sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and OctopusTerminal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
