# Scrollwall vs AppTime

The clearest difference is rating: Scrollwall at 4.7 against AppTime's 3.3. Scrollwall also leads on ratings volume (148 vs 3) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks). AppTime's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and review sentiment (80% vs 60%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollwall sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and AppTime sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollwall holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrollwall has 148 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Scrollwall's written reviews are positive against 80% of AppTime's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scrollwall ships an update every 5 days, AppTime every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
