# Scrollwall vs Focus Cat

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Focus Cat at 100% against Scrollwall's 55%. Focus Cat also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Scrollwall's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (148 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scrollwall sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and Focus Cat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Scrollwall holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scrollwall has 148 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Scrollwall's written reviews are positive against 100% of Focus Cat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
