# SubFind vs Subtle

The clearest difference is ratings volume: SubFind at 11 against Subtle's 1. SubFind also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SubFind sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Subtle sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SubFind against 5.0 for Subtle. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SubFind has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SubFind ships an update weekly, Subtle fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
