# Locklify vs DDetox

The clearest difference is monetization model: DDetox at free with in-app purchases against Locklify's subscription. Locklify's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Locklify sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and DDetox sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Locklify against 5.0 for DDetox. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
