# Tortol vs Paykada

The clearest difference is update cadence: Paykada at every 2 weeks against Tortol's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tortol sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Paykada sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tortol ships an update every 5 weeks, Paykada every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
